The city
tour is highly recommended to visitors upon their arrival. It is a short
and pleasant tour on the island of Mombasa Kenya, which includes a visit
to Fort Jesus (now a national museum, a short walk through the old town
with its narrow twisted alleys, overhanging balconies and carved doors.
It brings you then to the old dhow harbor where you may see the traditional
Arabic dhows at the docks.
A short
ride through the center of the town, passing by mosques and Indian temples,
before reaching Akamba woodcarvers. Then showing you the famous tusks
and finally drive into bazaar for a shopping expedition.
